01 · The problem
Daily Rituals makes kitchen tools in rose gold, gold and matte black finishes for the modern Indian home. The brand existed in print, as a lookbook, but not online.
Its products sell on how they look on a counter. A plain product grid would make them look like any other squeezer or spoon.
The job
Turn a printed lookbook into a site where kitchen tools read as objects worth displaying.

02 · How we worked
Every Edhway project runs through the same stages, from a trial week to running it month after month. See the process
- 01
Trial week
We started from the lookbook itself: its typefaces, its paper and ink colours, and its 24 products and 39 variants, all written into the site's data.
- 02
Build
A marble opening drawn in WebGL, finishes you can switch on every product, a day of rituals that scrolls sideways as the light shifts, and a collection filtered by ritual and finish. The product cut-outs, monogram and doodles were prepared from the brand's own files.
- 03
Launch
It is a catalogue, not a shop: every product ends in WhatsApp, Amazon or a stockist. Every product is set up to show properly in Google and when shared on WhatsApp, and the enquiry buttons are waiting on the brand's numbers and store links.
03 · Decisions that mattered
- Built around the buyer
A catalogue, not a cart
The brand sells through WhatsApp, Amazon and stockists, so the site sends buyers there rather than building a checkout nobody would use.
- Fast on any phone
Works without the effects
Every animation has a reduced-motion version and the pages still work without JavaScript. Keyboard issues found in an independent code review were fixed before launch.
- Nothing invented
From the brand's own book
Fonts, colours and every product come from the lookbook, not from a template.
We had a lookbook, not a website. Edhway built the site straight from it, our fonts, our colours, every product and finish, and understood that we sell through WhatsApp, Amazon and stockists, so they did not build a checkout we would never use.
