01 · The problem
Syntel makes the accessories that hold aerial optical fibre to telecom poles: tension and suspension sets, helical fittings and pole hardware, built to TEC and BSNL drawings.
Its buyers are network engineers and procurement teams. They do not want a brochure; they want to see the part, its dimensions, and how many of each a span needs.
The job
Show an engineer every fitting at its real size, and turn a span into a quote.

02 · How we worked
Every Edhway project runs through the same stages, from a trial week to running it month after month. See the process
- 01
Build
Every part is modelled in code at its real dimensions. The homepage flies down a valley to a village pole; each product opens into an exploded view with its bill of parts, and the 3D steps down in quality on slower devices.
- 02
Build
The site is laid out like an engineering drawing set: numbered balloons, sheet frames, and a signal yellow taken from the colour of single-mode fibre.
- 03
Launch
A span planner takes four inputs and returns the fittings the BSNL bill of materials calls for, then adds them to the quote list. Until Syntel's sales system is connected, a quote opens as a ready-written email.
03 · Decisions that mattered
- Fast on any phone
Models built in code
There are no heavy model files to wait for: every fitting is drawn in the browser from its dimensions, so an engineer on a site visit sees the part as soon as the page opens.
- Built around the buyer
The planner is the form
An engineer plans the span they are already working on, and the quote fills itself in.
- Nothing invented
Drawn to the standard
Fittings follow the TEC and BSNL documents the buyer's engineers work from, so what they see is what they would specify.
Our buyers are network engineers. They want the fitting, its dimensions and how many a span needs, not a brochure. Edhway modelled every part at its real size and built a span planner that turns an engineer's route into a quote list.
